I’m an Australian researcher currently living in Munich, Germany, where I’m doing my postdoc at LMU Munich with Felix Schönbrodt.
My research uses agent-based models programmed in R to simulate complex social and behavioural phenomena. During my PhD, I applied this approach to questions in evolutionary psychology; now, I focus on metascience, where I simulate the dynamics of academia itself. I’m especially interested in how research practices, incentives, and institutional structures interact over time, and how the selection forces shaping science could be changed to help it work better.
I’m always keen to connect with researchers working on related questions, especially where agent-based modelling might be useful. If you have an idea for a project or think there might be a way for us to work together, feel free to get in touch by email!
